The Boards of Education has the following common goals:

• Unite in service to our children.
• Create an interdependent relationship between the Board and the Superintendent.
• Establish a strategic plan for our school.
• Provide effective, ongoing planning and monitoring of processes.
• Support strong and durable linkages within our community.

The Board’s four major areas of governance are:

• Policies
• Personnel.
• Finance.
• Long-term planning.
