Thank you for visiting the Buckley Community Schools website. We are proud of our community, our staff, and our students. Our students work hard in the classroom, but just as hard in the extra–curricular arena. In addition to enjoying success in athletics, our students have also improved greatly in music, band, and drama. When our teachers say they put kids first, they mean it.

The Buckley Community Schools is in the process of updating our strategic plan. We are calling it 2020 Vision. We have held a series of round table discussions throughout our community to find out what our customers would like to see happen at Buckley.

Input from our students and families is important as we move forward. Our current indicators of success include satisfactory test scores at all levels; financial stability; high student retention rates; high graduation rates and adequately prepared students for post secondary education options; and a positive district image.

The goals that those indicators evaluate: an improved school image; curriculum/learning enhancement; technology; communication; fine arts option; and consistency.

The mission of Buckley Community Schools, where kids come first, is to partner with families to develop enthusiastic learners.
