About Me:
I am entering my 5th year at Buckley School as a Social Studies teacher and I couldn’t be happier than I am now. I grew up in Traverse City, but always considered Buckley my second home as my great-grandfather and great-grandmother settled in this area in the early 1900’s. My grandfather, my mom, my aunts, and many of my cousins and other family all attended and graduated from Buckley Schools. To be here is like being home and it fills my heart with pride to be part of a family tradition. Along with being a teacher, I am also the varsity baseball coach which is another passion of mine. In the summers, in fact, my wife, parents, and I attend most if not all of the Pit Spitter games in Traverse City. I have a daughter who is currently studying to be an airplane mechanic and will be finishing up her certification next August. If I am not at the ballpark, I can be found working on projects around the house, walking our four legged children, or just spending quality time with my family. I look forward to many more years to come here at Buckley Community Schools.
