I grew up in Kingsley, Michigan, and then attended the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a minor in Spanish. I spent 10 years after graduation in the Air Force. After leaving the Air Force, I earned my Master’s in Education and taught Math and Social Studies in California, Ohio, and Colorado. I was also a STEM Coordinator for the U.S. Air Force in New Mexico. My husband retired in 2024 after 25 years in the Air Force, and we moved back to my hometown of Kingsley to live on my grandparents' farm. G2N Farm has been in our family since the 1950s. I am excited to teach math in Buckley and look forward to getting to know the students and the community. In my free time, I love to drink tea, read books, and travel, but most of my time is currently spent working on the family farm or helping my husband and two kids.
